Upon review and acceptance of the Funding Guidelines section of this website, a potential Client or an introducer can utilize this application form to get their Project in for preliminary review by our Due Diligence Team. Complete application and supportive documentation will always result in a quick and professional response from our Team. We also strongly suggest that you submit your available Project data room directly to us via e-mail.
#1 (Initial Submittal):
Submit below an Executive Summary of the Project, that includes at a minimum:
Client and Introducer contact information;
Shareholder details and capitalization structure;
Nature and description of the Project;
Key milestones achieved to-date;
Proposed uses of Funds;
Proposed cost of the Project;
Amount and type of funding required;
Any and all other information that may be pertinent to the transaction.
Please note that we will require all supportive Project documentation available. If there is an NDA needed to be signed, please include with your submittal so that we may receive all the information within your data room that is currently available. Prior to any in-depth reviews, we need to fully understand and be able to sufficiently evaluate all current details for the funding request. This is important so that we can better understand all aspects of the Project, the Team and funding request. If there is anything missing or not complete, that's not an issue. Should the proposed funding request be accepted, we will work with you to address any of the evident shortfalls.
We will normally require about 3-5 days to analyze the information received. If we do not wish to go forward with the Project, we will then immediately inform the Client of our decision. On the other hand, if we do wish to go on with the transaction, then we will ask for an initial phone call with the Principals.
#2 (Internal Review & Client Familiarity):
Canam will review the Business Plan/documentation received along with the call with the Principals and generally get back in touch with the Client within 5 to 7 days. Further to the review of said documentation, Canam will decide whether we wish to continue with the Project.
#3 (Review & Term Sheet Issuance):
If we approve of the transaction, we will arrange for an issuance of a Review and Term Sheet with the Client and Canam to discuss the details of the Project proposal.
#4 (Formal Agreement):
If the Review and Term Sheet is positive, a Formal Agreement is issued to the Client, normally within 3 to 5 days.
#5 (Due Diligence & Funding):
Upon Client acceptance of the Formal Agreement and signing completion by both parties, Due Diligence commences and the funding plan is put into place.
